The playboy philosophy perpetuates the synthetic view of man, in which sex is reduced to his genital parts. The fallacy of such a view is that it makes too little of sex, not too much, for it isolates what was meant to pervade and makes small what was intended to be large. Thus the popular philosophy falls into the same fallacy as that of the religious heritage it affects to despise.
