Jesus a Mad Man or the Son of God?

A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would be either a lunatic—on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg—or else would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come up with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us.

An Upside-Down World of Cultural Decay

Everything has been turned upside-down in this age of cultural decay.  This is what happens when an affluent society has become used to having all its basic needs fully satisfied.  That's when people begin to conjure up problems that, during a saner time in our history, would have resulted in psychological counseling for those who believe they were born into the wrong body.  Au contraire!  We must never use logic and reasoning on issues that the left has determined should be catered to, and even paid for, by those who believe in the natural order of things.

Islam

Americans make a mistake when they judge Islam by its more tolerant American version. If we want to see what Islam is like as a religion, we must judge it by countries where it is in control: Saudi Arabia and Iran to name two. The laws of Saudi Arabia, for example, explicitly stipulate that converts from Islam to Christianity are to be executed. Also, in Islamic countries Christians are often put to death for "dishonoring Islam" not because they have spoke against it but simply because they believe in the Trinity, and this in itself is an insult to Islam.

Women Are NOT Sex Objects

Prostitution is one of the most severe ways possible to demean women. Since she is made in the image of God, prostitution is a gross example of dehumanizing exploitation and a far cry from the glad use of sex that God intends. Made in God’s image, women are not mere sex objects, but human beings, equal to men in all respects (Gal.3:28) and not to be toyed with or exploited by them.

Sex Is Not to Be Worshiped

Those who have less regard for historic Christianity virtually make the bed the altar of their new religion. Chastity is considered no more a virtue than malnutrition, and sexual intercourse is presented as the healthiest of “human sport” to which children should be early introduced. Those of more Christian commitment introduce “love” as the deciding factor, yet insist that this principle must find its application in each particular “situation.” Fornication is then allowed as an act of Christian charity, and adultery a sacrament of divine healing.

Six Mistakes

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; refusing to set aside trivial preferences; neglecting development of the mind; attempting to compel others to believe as we do.

Truth Is True Regardless

...truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity--it is simply true and that is the end of it.

Marriage Is Only Acknowledged By State and Church--They Don't Decide If It Is Bonafide

The roles of the state and church, although important, are external to the troth relationship itself. In more recent times by means of a marriage license (and bill of divorce) the state, concerned to safeguard marriage, simply acknowledges the life (or death) of a marriage. If a couple are in Christ, they seek the blessing and support of the cultic worship community. A minister does not marry the couple; he only acknowledges that in their vowed promise God marries them. A wedding ceremony is the rite by which a couple, seeking support and sharing joy, publicly pledge their troth in the presence of God, friends, family, church, state, and enter marriage.

Climate Change Cultists

Climate change moralists love humanity so much in the abstract that they must shut down its life-giving gas, coal, and oil in the concrete. And they value humans so little that they don’t worry in the here and now that ensuing fuel shortages and exorbitant costs cause wars, spike inflation, and threaten people’s ability to travel or keep warm.

People Really Can Live Without Sex

Physical sexual intercourse is not the divine sweet mystery of life without which one cannot be happy. Nor is it the inevitable fate of man as if the physical sex drive is an evil tyrant which just has to have an outlet in animal-like fashion. Sex is not candy, just a consumption article in which one tries a man or woman as he tries a ball point pen.

Marriage Is NOT Just About Sex

Reducing troth to physical sex is to reduce human sexual intercourse to animal copulation. Physical intercourse is a good gift of the Lord which ought to stay in the marriage-room of the creation. If sex in principle can be had with anyone—so-called free love—without exception elements of selfishness, exploitation and insecurity enter in.

There Will Always Be Inequality

Human beings are obviously unequal in numberless ways, including: health, opportunities, abilities, energy, moral character, and contribution to society. It is essential, therefore, in asserting the equality of all men to delineate the nature and the source of that equality. In Christian ethics the nature of equality is that all men are equally to be loved — not equally admired, or emulated, or praised; but equally loved.
