Disobedience Can Be Freedom

You simply disobey. Peaceably, yes. Respectfully, of course. Nonviolently, absolutely. But when told how to think or what to say or how to behave, we don’t. We disobey the social protocol that stifles and stigmatizes personal freedom.

You are supposed to obey all the laws of your country unless they contradict the laws of God. It does not matter if you find them absurd or violate perceived freedoms.

Anonymous,

When the new law itself violates a higher law such as the Constitution, then you can lawfully disobey.

Laws are ever changing. Legislation can always be undone, constitutions rewritten. If you are told to mask up, mask up. If told to get a vaccine, roll up your sleeves. "Civil disobedience" is an unbiblical concept and condemned by all the big teachers and preachers. Even America's revolutionary war cannot be justified. The Bible says, without qualification, to obey our leaders.

Anonymous,

We are to obey the law. The Constitution of the United States is the highest law of the USA. If a law is written which violates that law, then NO, we don't have to obey it. The Constitution needs an Amendment to be changed, not a fiat executive order. So get off your false teaching, legalistic and LEFTIST high horse.
