The above quote is absolutely not true. If you never read "novels and romances" (especially classics), you'll just come off as dry and uninteresting.

Thanks for your SUBJECTIVE viewpoint.
I have many discussions with many people and have never been "dry and uninteresting." I rarely read novels. I read theology, Christian apologetics and history, history, history.
The reason this country is so messed up is because no one studies history; they just read romances and novels. And we keep repeating the bad stuff which already happened in history.
I don't think that Anonymous is entirely in the wrong, if we are talking about classics that have withstood the test of time and teach moral points. I also find this excerpt to be ironic because the author of the site obviously spends a lot of time reading popular level garbage.

You can think what you want about Anonymous' comment, but you demonstrate you haven't looked much at this blog if you think I spend "a lot of time reading popular level garbage." That statement is a very foolish one.
