Life is pointless and nothing really matters.
What a sad life you must live. The point of my life is to glorify God in all I do.
I don't believe in any gods. In fact, I used to be a Christian, but upon reading one of most scholarly translations of the Bible out there (New Revised Standard Version), I thought the book to be one of the most crazy and terrible things ever to be written. Then there are other problems, such as why a god who claims to want us all saved and loves us never actually talks to us in an audible voice or gives us a sign of his presence. You can pray prayers for years and nothing ever happens.
That's my story in a nutshell. Didn't mean to bore you with it. You can have the last word.

You never were a Christian, because a real Christian won't/can't leave the faith because the Holy Spirit is in him. The RSV is old hat. I suggest Holman Christian Standard Bible or the more formal English Standard Version.
Our communication from God is the Bible. I've had many prayers answered.
I would suggest you purchase and read the book, "I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be An Atheist," by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek. And if you don't change your idea of God by the end of that book, then there's nothing I can do for you.
