They Think Their Decisions Are Best

The vision of the left is one of surrogate decision-making by those presumed to have not only superior knowledge but sufficient knowledge, whether these surrogates are political leaders, experts, judges, or others.  This is the vision that is common to varying degrees on the political left, whether radical or moderate, and common also to totalitarians, whether Communist of Fascist.
