How Tyrants Take Over
One of the ordinary models by which tyrants accomplish their purposes without resistance is by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story (1840)
Remember the scary C.I.A quote that I have shown you? Well, there's much more that needs to be exposed to the public. Consider, for example, that:
"The CIA owns everyone of any significance in the major media." -William Colby, former CIA director
"Deception is a state of mind and the mind of the State." -James Angleton, head of CIA counter intelligence from 1954-1974
Is it not disturbing to think that the vast majority of our knowledge base may have been inculcated with falsehoods and that we cannot trust the people in our leadership!?!?
Jesse, I wouldn't say "a vast majority our our knowledge" because the vast majority of my knowledge has nothing to do with anything the CIA would be involved with. But, yes, in the political realm, there is a whole lot of covering up with disinformation.
Even then I wouldn't say the "vast majority" -- there is way too much information in libraries, on the net, and in bookstores to ever to less than the majority of our real knowledge.

Jesse,

I was alluding to education in general.
