Beware of "Experts"

In an age of technology and expertise, we have been convinced that we should listen to the “experts” rather than common sense in determining the norms, values and attitudes of our families, our churches and other trusted institutions.  Cultural relativists urge us to adapt to the changes of our times, which they define as “progress” rather than mere change whose inevitability is not assured.
