Where Evil Will Come From

The greatest evils in the world will not be carried out by men with guns, but by men in suits sitting behind desks.

What Evil Is

There is…a level of cruelty and evil that transcends the word “sin.” All evil is sin, but not all sin merits the word “evil.” Where exactly that line is crossed cannot be defined. But to deny it exists is to declare all sins equal and all sinners evil, which empties the word “evil” of its horror and renders it superfluous.

Why the Secular Schools Don’t Teach About Evil.

With the exception of the mass murder of the Armenians (which was committed by Muslim Turks), the genocides and the other horrors of the 20th century were committed by secular regimes. Given the centrality of secularism to leftism, this fact has been kept from young people. Likewise, the fact that all these genocides were committed by big governments is not taught to young people because big government is also central to left-wing ideology. In other words, a true depiction of the evils of the 20th century would mean the end of the two pillars of left-wing ideology: secularism and big government.

Satan Hates Humans

The devil hates human beings and sexual difference is at the very core of human nature. The difference between man and woman, the complementarity of man and woman is right there at the heart of human nature. The devil hates humanity and so he tries to cut away at the very core of humanity.

What Would You Do?

Many in the United States assume something like the Holocaust could never happen here because our human nature is above all that.  Well, think again.  Throughout history, human nature has remained the same no matter where you live.  Would your moral foundation enable you to give up your job, wealth, family, and life to oppose evil?  Or would you succumb to silence by the immediate need for self-preservation?

Where the Greatest Evil Is Done

The greatest evil is not now done in those sordid "dens of crime" that Dickens loved to paint. It is not done even in concentration camps and labour camps. In those we see its final result. But it is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed, and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks, who do not need to raise their voices.

 Did God Create Evil?

God did not create evil; He created the possibility of evil by giving us freedom. Evil is nothing more than the corruption of that which intended for good. It is logically impossible for Him to create a world in which people have genuine freedom yet without the potential to do that which is depraved or even evil. If God had created us without freedom, we would have a world without humans and a world without love.

Building Compound Interest of Good and Evil

Good and evil both increase at compound interest. That is why the little decisions you and I make every day are of such infinite importance. The smallest good act today is the capture of a strategic point from which, a few months later, you may be able to go on to victories you never dreamed of. An apparent trivial indulgence in lust or anger today is the loss of a ridge or railway line or bridgehead from which the enemy may launch an attack otherwise impossible.

Bad Company Corrupts Good Morals

In evil societies, it is difficult not to participate in evil. Human nature is to go along with the crowd. Hence, the importance of avoiding living among bad people, unless one is strong enough to work to make a bad society better.

It is Dangerous Out There!

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.

Moral Relativism Led To Violent Society

What did post-modernists think would result from teaching children that they were random results of meaningless primordial sludge and that everyone else is as meaningless as they are? Why are we surprised with the violence of our society, which gives the strong power over the weak, when we have modeled that with the legalization of abortion? Or why did we assume that allowing children to watch Hollywood’s glamorized violence, murder and killings would have no effect? Or that videogames that reward players for killing people would somehow produce virtue? Does good fruit ever come from a bad plant?

With Absolute Power Lies Come True

Those in possession of absolute power can not only prophesy and make their prophecies come true, but can also lie and make their lies come true.

Things Are Wrong Intrinsically

Biblical truths are reflected in everyday life.  So, stealing and murder and lying aren’t wrong because the Bible says so.  Rather, the Bible says stealing and murder and lying are wrong because they are wrong.  They were always wrong, and the Bible testifies to that timeless Truth that predates the Bible itself.... Thus the wrongness of sexual immorality should also be as self-evident as the wrongness of stealing or murder.
