Darwinists’ Assertions Are Not Arguments

An assertion merely states a conclusion; an argument, on the other hand, states the conclusion and then supports it with evidence. Darwinists make assertions, not arguments. There is no empirical or forensic evidence that natural selection can account for new life forms, much less morality. Darwinists simply assert that morals have evolved naturally because they believe man has evolved naturally. And they believe man has evolved naturally, not because they have evidence for such a belief, but because they’ve ruled out intelligent causes in advance. So the Darwinian explanation for morality turns out to be just another “just-so” story based on circular reasoning and false philosophical presuppositions.

Hi,

This blog is news to me, but I want to give some thought to this quote.

No scientific evidence supports these viewpoints. On the contrary, several independent lines of evidence indicate that the Earth is about 4.5 billion years old and that the universe is about 14 billion years old. Rejecting the evidence for these age estimates would mean rejecting not just biological evolution but also fundamental discoveries of modern physics, chemistry, astrophysics, and geology.

Some creationists believe that Earth's present form and the distribution of fossils can be explained by a worldwide flood. But this claim also is at odds with observations and evidence understood scientifically. The belief that Earth's sediments, with their fossils, were deposited in a short period does not accord either with the known processes of sedimentation or with the estimated volume of water needed to deposit sediments on the top of some of Earth's highest mountains.

Creationists sometimes cite what they claim to be an incomplete fossil record as evidence that living things were created in their modern forms. But this argument ignores the rich and extremely detailed record of evolutionary history that paleontologists and other biologists have constructed over the past two centuries and are continuing to construct.

Jack,

The actual evidence supports creationism much moreso that evolutionism. NO evidence give 4.5 billion years, or millions of years, etc. Those dates are based on bias, assumptions, speculations and assertions. No factual evidence.

There is no such thing as biological evolution - again, all evolutionists have are assertions based on their bias.

Physics, chemistry, astrophysics, and geology are all independent of evolutionist ideology and will stand as they are with Creationism.

The actual observations do align with the fact of a world-wide flood, and the known processes of sedimentation, etc, fully support that belief.

There is no “evolutionary history” except in the minds of evolutionists.
