Perhaps nothing has ruined the lives, careers, and reputations of people more than the recent sexual revolution. It has produced divorce, abortion, incest, pornography, and the active homosexual lifestyle—resulting in a catastrophic increase of children being born into single-parent families, and leaving a trail of hurting, broken relationships. The suffering and horror from the numerous sexual diseases must also be added. As a result of our sexual revolution over twelve million cases of sexually transmitted diseases occur each year. This amounts to 38,000 new cases a day. Many of these are incurable. Almost daily, our newspapers tell us about the deadly disease of AIDS. Leading health authorities call it the “worst health problem of the century.” The number of people dying daily from this disease is equivalent to the number of deaths of one jumbo 747 jet crashing every day. It is estimated that over three million people are infected with AIDS and do not know it. They can unknowingly transmit this disease to others for as long as ten years. Innocent partners are being infected. No one is safe!
